Leave the crowds behind and dive into the wild beauty of Lapland on this peaceful kayaking experience. Located 60 km from Rovaniemi, far from tourist routes, this small-group tour (max. 6 people) takes you through a quiet river and across a lake where nature rules and silence surrounds you.
Your guide will introduce you to the basics of kayaking — how to paddle, steer, stay balanced, and what to do in case of a capsize. No stress: it’s all about taking your time, feeling safe, and enjoying the moment.
You'll spend between 1 hour and 1h30 on the water, gliding gently through Lapland’s untouched landscapes. Along the way, keep an eye out for wildlife: ducks, swans, and other birds often appear near the calm shores — a beautiful bonus to an already peaceful experience.
Halfway through, you’ll stop at a private laavu (traditional Finnish shelter) by the lake, where you’ll enjoy a relaxing break with warm drinks and snacks, seated around a fire. It’s a perfect moment to breathe, disconnect, and feel like you're completely alone in the world.
The total time on site is about 2 hours, and the tour is suitable for anyone 6 years and older who can swim. Whether you're a first-time paddler or just looking for a slow adventure in nature, this is an intimate and unforgettable way to connect with Lapland's soul.
